Our Winter Lager is a Doppelbock style with a great history. Dubbed the “liquid bread”, it was originally made famous and brewed back in the 17th Century by the brewing monks of St. Francis of Paula in Berlin. Dark brown in color from the complexity of malt we used in this beer from Mecca Grade Estate Malt, this beer will please the senses with notes of chocolate, caramel, and vanilla. Complex, smooth, and medium bodied with a hint of sweetness, this beer will keep you warm throughout the winter months and give reason to enjoy the cold season.
